Next month (12-14 October), chief executives and senior leaders will join together for the annual SOLACE Summit 2016 – ‘Connected Leadership in a Changing World’.
We are looking forward to this event as it is the first time that we have attended as exhibitors; located on stand seven, our senior management team will be taking the opportunity to speak directly with delegates and explain how we are working in partnership with local authorities across the country to address a wide range of challenges and cases.
Alongside the networking opportunities, we are excited to hear what the Summit’s high profile speakers will have to say during the comprehensive seminar programme.
Plenary sessions include ‘Speak Truth to Power: Reputational issues and the impact of ethics’ (chaired by Irene Lucas CBE, Interim CEO, Sunderland City Council), ‘Local Government 2020: the view from the outside looking in’ (featuring Lynda Thomas, CEO, MacMillan Cancer Support) and ‘Integration with health – Are we nearly there yet?’ (including keynote speakers Ian Dodge, NHS England, Mark Rogers, Birmingham City Council and Merran McRae, Calderdale Council).
It is certainly shaping up to be an incredibly informative conference and we look forward to meeting with delegates throughout the three days.
