Come and see us at the National Social Services Conference 2016

Once again we are looking forward to attending the National Social Services Conference (NSSC) 2016 which takes place in Llandudno, Wales at the end of this month (29-30 June 2016).

This year we will be located on stand B, where our senior management team will be on hand to speak with delegates about their individual challenges and cases, and explain how we are working alongside other local authorities to address similar issues.

As always, the NSSC conference has a wide range of keynote speakers lined up, which this year includes Dr Andrew Goodall (Director General for Health and Social Services and Chief Executive of NHS Wales), Albert Heaney (Director of Social Services and Integration, Welsh Government) and Margaret Willcox OBE (ADASS Vice President) amongst others, and we are keen to hear what they have to say about the wide range of issues currently facing children’s and adult social work departments across the UK.

With social service departments facing tighter budget restrictions than ever before, we know how difficult it can be to provide positive outcomes for vulnerable children and adults, and we look forward to speaking with delegates about how our services can directly improve the lives of those in need.
